Trump Media Is Dumping Bitcoin? $344M BTC Move to Crypto.com
  • Trump Media-linked wallets transferred 4,259 BTC worth about $343.67 million to Crypto.com.

  • Trump Media could face pressure to sell Bitcoin if it needs cash to reply $1 billion.

  • The Bitcoin later moved into a Crypto.com-labeled cold wallet, complicating immediate selling concerns.

Trump Media has moved 4,259 Bitcoin worth about $343.67 million to Crypto.com, raising concern that the company is preparing to sell part of its massive BTC treasury. The transfer comes as Trump Media faces a possible $1 billion repayment deadline later this month.

Is the company preparing to dump its Bitcoin?

Trump Media Moves 4,259 BTC to Crypto.com

According to Arkham Intelligence data, wallets linked to Trump Media & Technology Group transferred 4,259 BTC to Crypto.com in two transactions. The first moved 2,140.03 BTC, while the second transferred 2,119.31 BTC to the same Crypto.com address (34jvU…y7yMy).

The coins were worth approximately $343.67 million at the time. This brings Trump Media-linked transfers to Crypto.com in 2026 to roughly 9,540 BTC, valued at around $713.68 million when transferred.

About two hours later, Crypto.com moved the same 4,259 BTC, worth around $343.45 million, to a wallet (bc1qlt…u4na0) labeled as its cold storage.

This means the Bitcoin moved into Crypto.com’s custody infrastructure rather than directly to a known selling wallet.

A similar pattern appeared in May and August, when Trump Media transferred 2,650 BTC and 2,628 BTC to the exchange. The company previously said those transfers were for custody and trading management, not direct sales.

The Bitcoin is still in Crypto.com’s cold wallet, but this does not mean Trump Media will not sell it later.

$1 Billion Repayment Deadline

Trump Media may have a reason to sell its Bitcoin now, as the company faces a possible $1 billion repayment deadline later this month.

According to its November 2 securities filing, holders of the company’s convertible notes can demand cash repayment on November 30. If all holders exercise this option, Trump Media would have to repay roughly $1 billion.

The filing also warned that the company may need to sell Bitcoin or other digital assets if it cannot secure enough funds through refinancing or other options.

Trump Media’s second-quarter filing showed that 4,260.73 BTC was held as collateral for these notes as of June 30. Thus, the latest transfers raise questions about whether the company is preparing to sell some of its Bitcoin to meet the repayment deadline.

Trump Family Crypto In Pressure

Following the clean sweep of Democrats in the Senate and House, Trump-linked crypto tokens also came under pressure. The TRUMP token fell 19% in 24 hours, while MELANIA dropped 14% and WLFI declined 4%.

Democrats are set to take control of Congress in January 2027 and have said they plan to investigate the Trump family’s crypto businesses.
