Tokayev Dismissed Kosanov as Defense Minister Following the Deaths of Soldiers During Military Exercises
Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has relieved Dauren Kosanov of his duties as the country’s defense minister, the president’s press office reported. The dismissal followed the deaths of 14 service members during military exercises in the Caspian Sea.
