Michael Saylor Says Bitcoin Is Entering A New Bull Market Driven By Banks

Strategy Executive Chairman Michael Saylor said Bitcoin is returning to a bull market, with global bank adoption acting as the main catalyst. Speaking at ParaFi Investor Day 2026, Saylor pointed to banks offering Bitcoin custody and lending as key drivers. He said these services will open up billions of dollars in BTC-backed credit. Saylor described Bitcoin as having reached worldwide consensus as digital capital and said it makes up about 90% of the economic value in crypto. He also said Bitcoin-backed stablecoins paying annual yields of 6% to 8% could emerge. His remarks come as BTC recovers toward $82,000 after last week’s sharp, inflation-driven selloff.
