Market analyst Gert van Lagen has outlined a long-term XRP scenario near $50, built on two charts. On the monthly XRP/USD chart, which runs back to 2014, XRP traded near $1.50 on October 6. He points to a large symmetrical triangle formed by a ceiling around $2 to $2.10 and a rising trendline from the 2020 low. XRP pushed through that ceiling in 2024-2025 and traded above $3, then fell back to the same zone. In his model, a hold there could eventually support a move to $50, putting XRP’s market capitalization near $3 trillion. The second chart tracks XRP against Bitcoin. A recovery in the ratio to 0.00011, with Bitcoin at $450,000, works out to about $49.50 per XRP, close to his dollar target.
