  • Binance exchange reserves fell nearly 40,000 BTC in 15 days worth about $3.3 B.

  • Weekly Binance exchange outflows reached 23,100 BTC, the strongest since June 2023.

  • Meanwhile, BTC continues consolidating around $85,000 as exchange-held supply declines.

Despite circulating rumors of an impending BTC crash going around, recent insights on X by an analyst Darkfost suggests that ongoing Bitcoin accumulation is becoming impossible to ignore. Binance reserves have fallen by nearly 40,000 BTC in 15 days, worth roughly $3.3 billion, while BTC continues consolidating around $85,000.

The move comes as exchange outflows reach levels not seen in years. According to the data, nearly 14,300 BTC left Binance in the latest incomplete daily reading, exceeding the $13,800 BTC outflow recorded the previous week.

Binance Outflows Hit A Three-Year High

The weekly numbers are even more striking. Last week, 23,100 BTC left Binance, marking the strongest weekly net outflows since June 2023. That represents approx. $1.4 billion in accumulation during a single week.

Meanwhile, the data also shows Binance reserves declining from 704,800 BTC on September 20 to 663,100 BTC. That’s a substantial reduction in available exchange-held supply over just 15 days.

Exchange Reserves Keep Falling As Buyers Wothdraw

Exchange netflows are often watched for clues about market behavior. The analyst’s observation also argues that BTC leaving a widely accessible exchange can indicate accumulation and longer-term holding behavior.

There’s another detail worth watching. The current outflow pattern resembles a period in 2023 when BTC price was attempting to recover from its bear market. Still, history isn’t a guarantee. Outflows alone don’t prove that prices must rise.

$3.3B Supply Shift Could Strengthen The Floor

For now, Bitcoin accumulation is occurring alongside consolidation near $85,000. The data also points to fading sellers, creating a setup where reduced exchange-held supply and continued withdrawals could support a move out of the current range.
